MapHorizon is a UK based Geospatial Intelligence (GeoInt) consultancy founded by two former military officers with over thirty years of combined GeoInt experience. We are accustomed to operating in complex and time-sensitive environments, where assessments carry consequences. That discipline shapes how we work today: focused on accuracy, brevity, and clarity.

Rupert Johnson — Co-Founder and CEO
Fourteen years as a British Army officer. MBA, MSc in GeoInt, BSc in Biology and a Chartered Engineer. An experienced leader of highly specialist military intelligence teams, he has inspired the delivery of innovative solutions in high stakes environments. His experience also spans capability development, project delivery, construction, education and finance. Rupert leads client engagement, commercial development and business strategy.
Kyle Roberts — Co-Founder and CTO
Over twenty years in UK Defence GEOINT, including service as Chief Training Officer for the UK's principal geospatial intelligence organisation. Kyle has contributed decisively to operational deployments across multiple theatres, specialising in multi-source intelligence fusion and decision-support products for senior commanders. Kyle brings unmatched depth in analytical methodology, intelligence tradecraft, and the design and delivery of decision-ready GeoInt products.
